Golden Gates Game Bus Policies

SUPERVISED CHILDREN:

 

Golden Gates Game Bus does require a parent or responsible appointed adult to be available at the event location for party goers under the age of 18. A supervised adult must be in the party vicinity during the event.

Children under the age of 5 require a parent or guardian be present inside the mobile video game bus for supervision at all times. 

 

For the game bus we can only have 12 at a time.  If there are additional gamers we will rotate them. Anyone under the age of 5 we don't suggest allowing in the game trailer at this time but we understand if you must.  Anyone under the age of 5 is required to have an adult with them at all times. 

 

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

We accept cash, check, credit card or debit card to guarantee and pay for your Golden Gates Game Bus reservation. There is a $100 cancellation fee in the event of reservation being canceled within 5 days of your event. The remainder of your money will be returned.

 

PRIVACY POLICY:

Golden Gates Game Bus is committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information we collect to make bookings as simple as possible and to enhance your overall experience.  We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

 

TRAVEL SURCHARGE:

A travel surcharge may be applied for locations in excess of 30 miles from 06002 zip codes.

 

BAD WEATHER:

Golden Gates Game Bus is designed for all types of weather conditions with the exception of the virtual reality tent. The bus is insulated and climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. There may be occasions when the weather does not want to cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (lightning, very high winds, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains, snow or ice) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff, and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your party and you are aware in advance (pending or anticipated snow storm, tropical storm or hurricane) please contact us to begin the rescheduling.  If you would like to reschedule due to the weather we need at least 12 hours notice prior to the start of your event.

 

ALCOHOL/DRUGS:

You may bring your own alcohol for your Golden Gates Game Bus event or party for ADULTS over 21 years of age; however, we do not allow any food inside our mobile game bus during gaming sessions to enhance the overall cleanliness and sanitation. 

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when underage alcohol participation, advanced intoxication, or illegal drugs are being served. 

The party will be terminated without refund if the adult in charge of a supervised child by policy party is visibly inebriated. 

Beverages of any sort without a closeable seal will not be tolerated around equipment during playtime

 

DAMAGE/INJURY:

Golden Gates Game Bus or any of its employees will not be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the bus in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage.

Additionally, Golden Gates Game Bus reserves the right to charge the client for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage by client’s guests.

Golden Gates Game Bus and its employees assume no responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.

 

FOOD/DRINK:

Golden Gates Game Bus does not allow any food or drinks into the video game truck with the exception of bottled waters. Please have your guests consume them outside of the truck prior to entering. We will provide a hydration station outside of the bus with a garbage disposal 

 

PICTURES:

While your party is in effect the Game Coach  may be taking pictures of the party from inside the bus. You will then be able to view these pictures on Golden Gates Game Bus Facebook Fan Page and copy them to your files. If you do not want our Game Coach taking these pictures or posting them on the Fan Page please notify us via Email prior to the party. We do not take photos at any school event without the express written consent of the Principal.

 

TIPPING

The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. We tutor, inspire and entertain. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required. A review on Google, Facebook, Yelp, or any other site is always another great way to let us know that you enjoyed your event!

 

BUS PARKING:

When the bus pulls up, we will try to park in the most level & flat area or logical spot to accommodate your party. Sometimes, we park on your neighborhood street, so you might want to let your neighbors know (in case they may object) or let us know if you have a preferred spot for us. We might also have to block a driveway. **Please keep in mind that our Game Coach will not park anywhere that may cause  danger to persons, property or equipment. Our truck and trailer combination is very long and we will need a minimum of 60 feet of space to park.  We DO NOT park on the street

COVID-19 Protocol and Added Safety Measures

                                                                   Important Information - MUST READ!

 

    Due to the current state of the pandemic with Coronavirus, we are taking extra steps in our safety protocol. Everything gets disinfected including seating, railings, controllers, headsets and anything else the public comes in contact with before during and after each event. All of our surfaces are non-porous.
